K-Blaze, whose real name is George Kabinga, is a Zambian Music Video Director, Filmmaker, and Film Colorist. He has worked with many popular artists in Zambia, including T-Sean, Wezi, Roberto, Yo Maps, Macky 2, Jae Cash, Cleo Ice Queen, and Slap Dee. K-Blaze is also known for directing award-winning music videos from Malawi, such as those by Namadingo. His creative work spans across various genres and generations, making him a prominent figure in the Zambian music industry. As a filmmaker, K-Blaze has a keen eye for cinematography and storytelling. His visual direction has contributed significantly to the success of music videos, capturing the essence of each artist’s vision. Whether it’s capturing scenic landscapes, vibrant performances, or intimate moments, K-Blaze’s work reflects his passion for visual storytelling. His journey in the film industry began during his high school years in 2007, where he nurtured his passion for filmmaking by writing stories and creating comic books, which he sold to his schoolmates. This path eventually led him to connect with musicians in 2013, and he started directing music videos for them and other local artists. K-Blaze‘s career took a significant leap forward in 2017 when he directed the music video for Yellow Dove feat. Sampa: “Cry from Hell,” which received widespread attention in mainstream media. In 2018, he further elevated his career by partnering with Ernest Siingwa, also known as ERT, and together they founded EK Films, a prominent Film Production Company.
